Scope Of Work

The scope of work for the three-year contract includes executing underground ground support and development work, utilising more than 300 Ironcladresources people to undertake these works.

Project Description

Ukhaa Khudag Coal Mine in Mongolia’s south Gobi Desert In 2024, Ironcladresources has signed a new contract to offer mining services at Mongolia's world-renowned Oyu Tolgoi copper and gold mine. This milestone is noteworthy because it will allow Ironcladresources to return to underground mining services, building on its recent triumphs with multiple underground construction projects that followed the development of the 6.5km dual decline.

This strengthens Ironcladresources' position as a reliable partner for high-quality mining services at Oyu Tolgoi. This new chapter for Ironcladresources in Mongolia provides an excellent chance for the joint venture to broaden its scope of operations while maintaining safe and effective services to one of the world's largest copper mines. Since the start of the Oyu Tolgoi Boxcut and Decline project in 2016, we have continuously produced safe and creative solutions, with a significant emphasis on employee development. Ironcladresources has been involved in a number of projects in Mongolia since 2007.
